The newest addition to Manhattan’s Ramen District, Mentoku Ramen stays true to the soul of the Japanese ramen experience. Serving high quality Hakata style "Tonkotsu" ramen at lower prices, Mentoku prides itself in using only the freshest and most flavorful ingredients.

Traditionally meant to be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere, Hakata ramen is served up quickly while; detailed attention is paid to each carefully crafted bowl. Mentoku Ramen is a go-to for those searching for an authentic, filling, and refreshingly healthy ramen experience.

About Owner Chef, Yasuo Okada
Trained by a master chef in a classic Japanese “Uotoku" restaurant, Mr. Okada brings this long tradition of Hakata ramen to NYC. After 7 years of studying and successfully running multiple Tokyo restaurants, he finally achieved his dream of opening Mentoku Ramen NY in November 2015.

Mentoku Tonkotsu Soup
By cooking fresh pork bones at a high temperature for 15 hours in a large, tick pot, a creamy and richly flavored broth is born. Each drop contains a tantalizing smoothness and near fathomless depth, harmonizing exquisitely with the thin and hard noodles. Every spoonful is bursting with mellow fragrance, refine sweetness and deep flavor that spread in the mouth.
